Investigation into movable dislocation evolution feature and strengthening effect for metal twin Al from atomic perspective

It is an universal phenomenon that the dislocations are produced in metal plastic deformation, which will has a potential value fundamental research field for strengthening and toughening if its evolution characteristics laws investigated. Therefore, this behavior of movable dislocation Al studied by atomic simulation, microscopic mechanism also revealed through studying interaction between induced nano-indentation twin boundary. Furthermore, features, density, hardness, adhesive effect analyzed, comparison single boundary height multilayer conducted. found deformation aluminum mental can be dominant coordinating amorphous generation hexagonal close-packed structure under high speed deformation. In process, two obvious effects on moving changes: one to hinder from migrating, other induce produce cell, result entanglement cross slip, it main reason why excellent mechanical properties features. These results demonstrate local non-contact region surface substrate mismatch spots appear during loading, when distance upper decreases, winding slip become more obvious, anti-adhesion decreases. addition, treated as propagation ring source emission process continuously loaded. provide important theoretical improving effect.
